Dear partner in Christ,
Once again thank you for your prayers and support for my mission trip to Haiti. Many things have changed in Haiti as you know since the horrible earthquake that happened there on January 12. Many people are still homeless and are living in tents. I know of one particular Christian man and his family who is currently living in a tent. He says, “I worry about the gangs and the hurricanes that may harm me and my family.” All I could do is to give this fellow Christian a hug and cry over him.
However, God is doing some great things. A three day prayer, fasting and repentance service took place at the Haitian palace at Port au Prince on February 12. Over one million Haitians came to these services, three thousand Haitians professed faith in Christ along with 101 Voodoo priests. The president of Haiti also placed his trust in Christ, too. Praise the Lord!

God has given me the privilege to go to Haiti and help the least amongst us in the world. I can’t solve their problems but I can give them encouragement by being Jesus to them.
I once again felt God’s presence and hand on me. I was able to preach at two of Pastor Isaac’s church services. I led the music for many the VBS programs at the various Lutheran Schools. I passed out: John 3:16 tracts and prayed over many Haitian patients who came to our eye glass and medical clinics. Our mission team saw over 500 Haitians at these clinics. Praise God for the three doctors and two nurses who were with us!

Pastor Isaac continues to minister to 28 orphans that live in his home. One little boy (a survivor of the earthquake) is Pastor’s newest orphan. The school is almost completed thanks to the nice donation given by Lutheran Women’s Missionary League in Northern Illinois. Hopefully, by the end of this year the orphans will move into their new school. Moreover, monies are still being raised for a new orphanage for the children.
May God be glorified in what our team has accomplished!
My Jesus is Alive in Haiti.
I saw His face.
Pastor Paul
